Affiliate disclosure
Watermarkend earns a commission when you buy a watermark tool through some of the links on this site. It costs you nothing extra, and it is how the site is paid for.
This page sets out exactly what that covers, because a disclosure that is vague is not a disclosure.
What we earn a commission on
Purchases of paid plans and licences made after clicking one of our partner links. Depending on the programme, that is a percentage of the sale, a recurring share of a subscription, or a flat bounty per signup.
We do not earn anything on free tiers, on tools with no affiliate programme, or on the official upgrade routes we recommend where the vendor runs no programme at all. Those still get recommended when they are the right answer.
How affiliate links are marked
Every partner link on this site goes through a `/go/` redirect and carries `rel="sponsored nofollow"`. Buttons that open a partner site say so in their accessible label, and every page that contains one states it near the top.
What commission does not change
Scores are set from vendor documentation, dated pricing checks and user reports before any commercial consideration exists. No vendor can buy a position, a review, a higher score or an inclusion, and none has been offered one.
The practical proof is in the rankings themselves: tools with no affiliate programme appear in them, and tools that pay well sit below tools that pay nothing. If commission drove the order, the order would look different. The method is on how we rate watermark removers.
Which partner programmes we use
Directly with some vendors, and through the Impact, CJ, ShareASale, PartnerStack and MyCommerce networks for others. Cookie windows and commission models vary by programme; none of them are visible to you and none of them affect what you pay.
If you would rather we earned nothing on your purchase, go to the vendor site directly. The recommendation stands either way.
